Here at Watauga Vista, we take fire safety very seriously.
- No open burning allowed at any time by anyone except Watauga Vista staff. (NOTE: Use of WV staff for open burning will be at the expense of the Resident or guest and only during non-dangerous periods.
- Barbeque grilling and wood fires contained in approved fire burning grills or containers are allowed, but only during non- dangerous periods. Please douse all fires thoroughly with water when finished (live coals can exist for up to 48 hours after use).
- Do not dump wood or coals on the ground...
- No Fireworks at ANY TIME!!! (North Carolina State Law)
